Miss Utah USA Gala Raises Over $10,000 for Best Buddies

The gala was something that Laura Chukanov, Miss Utah USA 2009, had envisioned for quite some time.

Her goal was to raise $10,000 for Best Buddies Utah and thanks to the generosity of pageant contestants and guests, Laura met her goal.

The gala, which was held at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, featured a silent auction, dinner, presentation of this year’s pageant contestants, and a live auction.

All proceeds from the event will go towards creating and maintaining one-to-one friendships throughout the state of Utah.

Best Buddies would like to sincerely thank Laura, the Miss Utah USA organization, and all those who helped to make this event a success.
